Medical Lake, Washington. She believes a great, corporate prophetic voice will come forth from the darkness and restoration of the prisons. Terri is also the Healing Room Director for the Northgate Healing Room, affiliated with the International Healing Room Ministries headquartered in Spokane, Washington, directed by Cal and Michelle Pierce. Please visit (www.clcspokane.org.) for a great map to help you locate the Northgate Healing Room. Terri has been on staff with the International Healing Room Ministries in the past as Graphics Department head and was a trainer for the ministry team for two years. She believes Jesus Christ is the healer and all glory and honor belong to Him and by His stripes (Isaiah 53) we are healed. Jesus finished it all on the cross. She blesses the work of the Healing Room Ministries and believes the revelation to come forth from that well has only just begun to flow.
Terri and her husband Michael and sons moved from the East Coast to the West Coast in December of 2000. They are members at Christian Life Church in Spokane, Washington under the direction of Pastors Barry & Kay Hill.
She prays for the protection of Israel. Terri rejects "Replacement Theology" and believes Israel has commands and mandates, such as the protection of original Hebrew scrolls intact and occupying the land itself, that "the church" isn't equipped or called to carry out- and yet The Almighty has never released Israel from these same commands. She does believe the promises to Israel also belong to the church because we have been grafted into the original olive tree and therefore, as scripture foretold, it has become possible for all nations to be blessed as Israel has been blessed, through our Messiah, Jesus.
Terri's goal is to bring the message of our Messiah Jesus, His love, His hope, His joy, His peace, and His salvation to every nation on this earth. She laughs in joy at what God has done with these paintings while she worships at His feet! All things are possible through Christ Jesus and she wants to always be His friend.
This painting, Break Our Hearts Lord With What Breaks Yours, was given to me, through the Holy Spirit, on Wednesday, January 12, 2005. I have just finished it after two years of painting. You may recall, if you have read the other testimonies (Home Page), that I had a difficult time receiving other paintings, as with Balaam's Donkey, I cried for about two hours that day. But this painting was different as I received it in quite a calm, shocked state and this time - a first - something very strange happened, as the woman sitting in a chair beside me as I lay on the floor beside her - saw what I was being given. She called me the next morning to ask if I had received a painting and then she told me what she saw, there is so much more to this so write me if you want to know more....
Now seeing this painting I want you to know I STILL have an abiding joy and faith that nothing will be able to take away. Some of you reading this do know me personally and you know this to be true. I am awed and amazed by the goodness, the sweetness of God. I am going to share a bit from my journal again further down in this testimony, as I try to do with each painting -this being number eight given to me in this way- but this time I don't feel I am to share it all, as so much of it is very personal for me. Remember I always have all the scriptures listed on each painting website page as that is really the whole point - God's word will not come back void but will accomplish that which it was sent to do. The Holy Spirit spoke as I was painting this time that this painting- these paintings- are the only bible some people will ever read. Many caught up in the occult and homosexuality are so wounded and abandoned by the church that the last thing they would do would be to pick up a bible. Would you if you were a starving mother and had stolen food and then were walking down the road and saw hundreds of people holding big signs that said "God hates Thieves!" Why would that woman go to that group of hate mongers to get any help? God Loves - God is Love and desires that NONE should perish! Stealing is listed as a terrible sin - one of the ten commandments. God hates sin but you know what???? --- God loves people and desires that none should perish. He goes to help...sends those to help... every precious, trapped individual -stuck in every spiritual quagmire of deception. If I am not walking in love, if I am not the face of love how will you ever give me your hand so I can help you out of the quick sand? If I am the face of hate most of us would rather take our chances with the quicksand!
Many people viewing the paintings will change and their hearts will be softened and hundreds of thousands will come to know our Messiah - (Savior, Helper, Friend) - as their Messiah too. These things have been prophesied over me and the paintings over and over - from one coast to the next and from one continent to the next - and I fully believe it. With harp music and cellos and violins and open spaces these super big billboard type paintings will be displayed in public spaces where the unchurched will be able to wander through. They will not be threatened. They will not be hurt. They will be loved. The bigness of the paintings (now eight) creates a space that I believe God will fill with His glory and love for the wounded and lost. Today people speak of garden rooms outside ... Well we will create glory rooms in the middle of the concrete walkways of malls and parking lots and public buildings ... wherever we are allowed to go in peace. This is the market place anointing - eventhough nothing will be marketed in these circumstances --it is still the arena all of these things will unfold in. People will pass through a glory atmosphere of peace via sounds and vision. The Lord will woo them with His love ... as He wooed you & I. He is a Lover!
If you click on the painting and save it for yourself you will be able to enlarge it in your own computer's picture program. You will really have a very fine quality print where every word can be read. This has been my dream - to provide you with a free copy of the paintings. May you all... in the four corners of this earth... be blessed with these prints. I now can redo all the paintings (give me a bit of time!) in the same manner as my husband has just blessed me with an 8 pixel digital camera. I have actually never had one and had to borrow or have someone take photos for me so this will help this ministry so much! Here are a few pictures of the opening. I forgot to take them until late!! Better late than Never. (It is never too late for you either as long as you still walk in the land of the living!)
The exhibit opening occurred on March 3, 2007 (the 13th of Adar, and finished on the 14th of Adar) ---the Feast of Esther - as Purim began at sunset. It was the feast of the Bride for her King!!! Not planned by me ... but I believe by the Almighty- as I submitted the date to set the exhibit with at least five different people! The date was a wonderful surprise. We had a large turnout and if not spread out over hours we wouldn't have been able to move let alone see and read the paintings. May the Lord bless all those who took the time to share this new beginning with me! - Terri Derocher
Many thanks to my dear friend Debbie Hadford who helped bring this exhibit to fruition. Debbie you are a forever friend. I wish I had a photo of you to share. You have truly blessed me with your faithfulness and servant heart!
There is a candle in every soul.
Some brightly burning some dark and cold
There is a Spirit, who brings a fire
Ignites a candle, and makes His own.
Carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the hopeless, confused and torn,
Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle, go light your world.
Take your candle; go light your world
Frustrated brother, see how he’s tried to
Light his own candle, some other way
See now your sister, she’s been robbed and lied to
Still holds a candle without a flame.
Carry your candle, run through the darkness,
Seek out the lonely, the tired and worn
Hold out your candle, for all to see it
Take your candle and go light your world,
Take your candle go light your world.
We are a family, whose hearts are blazing
So let’s raise our candles light up the sky
Praying to our Father, in the name of Jesus,
Make us a beacon in darkest time
Carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the helpless, deceived and poor
Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle and go light your world
Carry your candle, run to the darkness,
Seek out the hopeless, confused and torn
Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle go light your world
Take your candle go light your world
